I believe you already heard that Apple isn’t shipping a charging adapter or headphones in box with the iPhone 12 or any new Apple watches, you will only get a Lightning to Type C cable in the box. Apple took these steps to Reduce carbon emission and by removing the charger brick and headphones from the box Apple can shrink the box and they can ship 70% more devices in the shipping pallet.

Design

I loved the design in new iPhone 12 series. Apple shaved down the bezels considerably compared to the iPhone 11 and XR, but the notch remain the same size. I am a huge fan of new colours specially the new GOLD in 12 pro. The iPhone 12 comes three other colours — black, white and red.

Camera

The primary camera in now a new 7-element design with an ƒ/1.6 aperture, the largest yet in an iPhone. The upshot of both of these changes is a 27% improvement in low-light performance, which, coupled with advancements to Smart HDR and Deep Fusion. New night modes even in front facing camera. Apple has gone all in on 4K HDR video recording with the iPhone 12 line. Pro line feature Dolby Vision video. Dolby vision provide superior colour depth no matter where or how you view your content. 5G

Apple built their new phones to run on the most bands of any 5G phone this will lead to better chance of 5G coverage. Even though 5G is in its early stages and not so great at the moment, But 5G on new iPhones are future proof. Apple introduced Smart Data Mode, this feature will automatically switches between LTE and 5G depending if you need more speed. This way you will save more energy from running the 5G all the time. Smart Data Mode will be is optional this means if you’d rather have 5G running at all times you can do so.

Performance

Apples new A14 Bionic is 50% faster than the one in the A13. It’s the first 5-nanometer chip in the industry, and promises meaningful gains.

Apple says the A14 Bionic includes a new six-core CPU design that will offer 40% speed boost, while the four-core GPU will be able to offer “console quality” gaming performance. The A14 Bionic offering better AI performance. Apple lists it as featuring 16 Neural Engine cores that are capable of enacting 11 trillion operations per second. This reportedly makes it “80 percent faster at machine learning.”

MagSafe

MagSafe is a snap-on charger from Apple and only available in iPhone 12 for now. MagSafe was originally available on older MacBook Pro and MacBook Air models. iPhone MagSafe works with cases, wallets and chargers. You’ll be able to magnetically connect the iPhone to a wireless charger, as well as a magnetic wallet accessory that snaps to the back of the smartphone. Also Stylish new leather cover that snaps onto the device shows a new clock mode for iOS. You can also buy combo chargers that will charge your iPhone, watch and AirPods at the same time.
